What a week

WOAAW… What a week! It’s been a week since your and my family here… It’s been a really full week. We did really well. From touring melbourne, driving van, shopping, flowers, feeding people in church, rehearsal, changes in wedding, etc… It’s a full week.

I always enjoy our conversation while I’m driving at you are in front with me… Hmm… Though we don’t have “our-time” I think this is a first step for us as a couple. It is not only about us… It is more than “just-us” it’s our family, it is God, it is our friends, it is our church community, our leaders… so many things that surrounds us that we can be an impact for.

I am enjoying myself at home… reading all the notes in this blog make me realise that we have been through a lot… By God’s grace, we are here today… 1 more day we are an item.

Jessica, I love you… Looking forward to start another journey with you!

Exactly

It’s 1 month to go … 30 days to go … Wow …

Thank God that we’ve come to this stage. I think we’ve done well despite all the challenges that we both facing.

I am excited!! I hope you do!

I can’t ask for a better partner in preparing this wedding day! You’ve done a lot!

I love you…

43 days to go

43 days to go to our wedding and tonight we’ll meet at Perth! So exciting   

I’m excited to try on my wedding dress as well!! Just a bit more to go now… hihihi

At this stage, we still need to work on;
visa papers,
cake,
florist,
order flowers for church,
church décor,
photo in canvas,
AV at Sumac,
souvenir,
follow up people to RSVP,
car allocation for the day,
bridesmaids’ dresses,
wedding ring,
your return tix to Melbourne,
packing for SC,
program & menu,
engagement video,
seating plan,
talk to Hadi & Val,
practice our dance!

Whoa.. so many things on the list and so little time now…

50 days to go!

WOW! It is 50 days to go to our wedding… I am so excited. I know there are lots of things to be done.

Actually planning the wedding is better, the hardest thing is to plan the family tour…

Jess, I love you always…

As a wedding professionals for 7 years… I wasn’t aware that wedding preparation is really tough. I know that wedding is 2nd big day of our life… (the 1st is when we met Jesus for the 1st time)… However I didn’t realize it needs a lot of hard work, emotion, thoughts and energy to it. This period is also tested the relationship… not only the getting-to-be-married couple but also all relationships… with the parents, parents to parents, siblings etc…

Now I realize that 2 people who stand in the altar to be married… They’ve been through a lot… Maybe that’s why most people cry :)

A friend of mine, Heda, remain me to keep praying and focus on the relationship instead the preparation… For me to focus to you and our love… and for you to focus to me and our love as well… Somehow great things… 2 God-loving Christians to be married is a threat to the kingdom of darkness… So it is normal to have so many challenges.

I have decided again today to love you… to fight for you again… to chase you…. though with all limitations (distance, time, etc)

Let us fix our eyes to our relationship and each other… more than that… to God.

This past weekend was so far the busiest weekend in 2013.

Morning: make up trial at Chadstone. I like the make up but hair do wasn’t flattering.. bingung!
Noon: Auntie’s Dumpling with Aldrick & Evans
Mid afternoon: Ocep, Bram & Wiwi’s bday at Point Cook
Late afternoon: hospital visit for Temmy & Mer
Evening: dinner for Aris’ farewell
Late evening: picking up jars

This weekend was a big wake up call for most people at church. What happened to Temmy shocked a lot of people and yes, they started to look at their diet. I’m really sad for Temmy… but we should believe that he will recover 100% and has no brain damage or else.

On the brighter end, my heart went boom boom boom when you sent me the picture of our wedding bands! How exciting!!!

Ookies, so we haven’t written anything in the last month. I guess it’s enough to show that we’ve been bogged down with wedding preparation.

Anyway, it’s H-166 and I’m so excited. I don’t want the days to go too quickly though. There are so many things to sort and decide in the next 165 days. Where to live in Sunny Coast, when to move to Sunny Coast, where to go for honeymoon, final list of who to invite, where will the family stay, where to bring them, where to buy flowers, cake tastings, invitation design, dance classes, songs selection, engagement photo shoot, reception opening video, and ultimately my visa. So many things to do but yes I’m grateful that I do it with you and very grateful that we can do it with friends who support us greatly <3
